These Terms of Service apply to services provided by Revive Wash. By booking or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Revive Wash will provide a quotation to you via email, text message (SMS), or phone prior to booking confirmation.
If you have special requests, please inform us at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to adjust your package, job duration, and pricingâ strictly with your verbal or written approvalâif we deem that the original quotation or service package is not fit for purpose upon inspecting the vehicle.
Advised job timeframes are estimates only and are subject to change depending on vehicle condition.
Revive Wash performs a wide range of mobile detailing services. While we undertake all work with the highest level of professional care and skill, certain processes carry inherent risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993):
Revive Wash is not liable for loss or damage resulting from pre-existing vehicle defects, aged/brittle components, or clear wear-and-tear.
You acknowledge that damage caused by pre-existing conditions or external factors remains the responsibility of your vehicle insurance provider.
We take all reasonable precautions to protect your vehicle. It is your responsibility to inform us of any known paint flaws, delicate parts, or previous repair work prior to service commencement.
Dirt, grime, and heavy soil can conceal pre-existing exterior paint flaws (swirls, scratches, chips, clear-coat failure) or interior damage (broken trim, faded materials, cracked leather, loose fittings).
If our team discovers pre-existing damage during the service, we will bring it to your attention.
Revive Wash is not responsible for correcting pre-existing flaws unless explicitly included in your booked detailing package.
You agree not to hold Revive Wash responsible for pre-existing defects uncovered during the cleaning or paint decontamination process.
For mobile bookings, you must provide a safe, off-street work area with adequate clearance around the vehicle.
You agree to provide access to a working standard power outlet and a garden water tap unless explicitly agreed otherwise with Revive Wash.
Doors, boots, and tailgates may remain open for extended periods during detailing, which can drain your vehicle's battery.
You authorize Revive Wash to connect a battery charger or temporarily disconnect the battery if necessary.
If your battery is in poor health, there is a risk it may fail or require replacement. Revive Wash is not responsible for battery replacement costs due to pre-existing battery degradation.
If your vehicle requires a jump-start, you acknowledge the inherent risks involved.
If you do not wish for us to jump-start or boost your battery, you must notify us in writing prior to commencement and provide an alternative method for moving the vehicle.
For liability and safety reasons, if our team removes a child car seat or booster seat to clean underneath, we will not re-install or re-fit it.
Clients are requested to remove all child seats prior to our arrival.
You acknowledge that Revive Wash accepts no responsibility for the correct installation or safety of child seats.
Please remove all personal items, valuables, and trash from the vehicle prior to your appointment.
You grant Revive Wash permission to move non-valuable personal items if necessary to complete the service.
Revive Wash accepts no liability for lost or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.
Vehicles affected by extreme pet hair, mold, biohazards, or excessive mud may incur an additional heavy-soiling surcharge, which will be confirmed with you prior to starting work.
Engine bay cleaning involves water, degreasers, brushes, and specialized chemicals.
Engine cleaning carries risks to electrical components, sensors, and mechanical systemsâparticularly on aged, modified, or previously damaged vehicles.
Revive Wash is not liable for electrical faults, engine warning lights, or mechanical issues resulting from engine bay cleaning where standard care was exercised.
Accessories such as roof racks, nudge bars, bike racks, snorkels, or aftermarket trims may hinder access to certain vehicle surfaces.
We request that you remove these prior to the service or supply the keys/tools required for removal.
Revive Wash is not responsible for damage caused during the removal or reattachment of third-party accessories.
If Revive Wash team members need to drive or move your vehicle, you confirm that your vehicle holds valid registration, a current Warrant of Fitness (WoF), and that your insurance policy covers third-party drivers.
All Revive Wash drivers hold a valid New Zealand Driver Licence.
Revive Wash captures photos and videos of vehicles before, during, and after services.
Images are stored securely for a minimum of 12 months for vehicle condition verification.
Images may be used on our website and social media for promotional purposes. We will blur license plates and avoid displaying identifying owner information.
If you prefer that photos/videos of your vehicle not be used for marketing, please notify us.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.
We accept Cash, Visa card, and Bank Transfer (bank transfers must be pre-approved).
Unpaid invoices outstanding past 7 days may incur late fees, interest, and any associated debt collection costs.
We require at least 24 hours' notice via phone or email to cancel or reschedule your booking.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 20% of the total booking value.
